TEAMICEHEAVE.COM HEADLINES
We'd like to take the time to thank everyone who has been
continuing to view and support our little spot on the web here, it is
greatly appreciated.  We have been taking the time recently to add
some new features to the page including
Fishing Videos and Fishing
Articles
.  It is our hope that you will enjoy these new features and
continue to send us your kind words and support, once again, it is all
greatly appreciated.  We have more additions in the works so please
stay tuned as we will be getting them up and running shortly.  How
about a little talk about fishing?  Fishing continues to be productive
here in the Kanabec County area, although the bite has cooled to an
extent. Knife Lake is still a good look for all you walleye fisherman,
and the best presentation has been either slip bobbering or jigging.
Trolling and casting cranks are producing Walleyes as well as Pike.
Jointed Shad Raps in the Perch color are a great option.
For anyone interested in Bass, the bite on Knife is continuing to improve. Working plastics and top
waters have been producing numbers of quality fish.  The panfish bite on Fish Lake remains
consistent for both Sunfish and Crappies. Using floats with T.H.E. Jig, small ice fishing jigs or a
plain hook are producing fish. Beetle spins in white/red or yellow/black are also worth noting.  Other
areas of interest in the Mora/Kanabec County area include Mud (Quamba) and Lake Eleven. There
are some quality fish coming in around the area.
Knife Lake Largemouth
I've been putting in a good number of hours fishing Mille Lacs Lake
in the past two weeks preparing for a
CK Outdoors Get Together we
have planned for August 2nd.  If any of you are interested in
attending, simply contact me at
mikewalbridge@teamiceheave.com
or get a hold of Chris at
chriswalsh@teamiceheave.com.  I'd also be
glad to have you join us on the forums at
CKOutdoors.com and you
can let us know you are interested in attending as well.  This is
basically
Mille Lacs Lake Walleye
going to be a friendly event for us to all get together and meet fellow
fisherpersons from throughout the state and hopefully get into some
of the great fishing Mille Lacs Lake has to offer as well.  We are still
working out some of the details, most of which now depend on where
the fish are in the next couple of weeks.  Fishing up on The Pond has
been productive, although my last two trips up have left something to
be desired.  Last week we boated nearly 40 Walleyes in three trips,

however, in two trips this week we've only managed to put one into the boat.  That's the way it goes
sometimes.  I'd like to take a moment now to introduce some of you to a few of the new websites
we have added to our
Links Section.  It is my hope that you will check these guys out because they
too are full of a wealth of information to help improve your time on the water and in the field as
well.  Please take a moment to look over, and join if you will, both
Red Ash Outdoors and
MNFISHING.org.  At Red Ash Outdoors there is a forum full of information and they also publish
an online magazine on a monthly basis.  There is a number of other features as well.  I've recently
been asked to write a monthly column for the magazine over there and consider it a great honor.
Another link we have added is for
Fishnline Radio, hosted by Dave "Hoggie" Hoggard.  These
programs are full of informaton and are well worth the listen.  I hope you will check these sites out.
As I said before, thank you for continuing to support us here at
TeamIceHeave.com and hope to
hear from you again in the near future.
